What You’ll Be Doing
Design and deliver modern data solutions that genuinely help clients unlock value from their data. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, shape smart technical approaches, and build secure, scalable pipelines and platforms. Play an active role in mentoring junior colleagues, sharing ideas, and constructively challenging thinking, all while contributing to a supportive, curious and collaborative Data and AI team.
Bring curiosity, fresh ideas and confidence in talking about data in a way that helps clients see the value and possibility in what we build together.
Your Day-to-Day
- Understanding clients' requirements
- Working in technologies like Databricks and Fabric to create efficient pipelines for extracting, transforming and sharing clients' data in a secure and governed way
- Working as part of a project team, including leading appropriately sized projects
- Supporting junior colleagues and sharing knowledge with client teams
- Enhancing our solution framework
- Contributing to team meetings and seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement in how we design and deliver our solutions
What we're looking for
If some (or most) of the following sound like you, we'd love to hear from you:
- Comfortable working with modern data architectures such as Lakehouse
- Understanding of Python, SQL, Databricks. Azure preferred.
- Experience building and optimising ETL or ELT pipelines
- Knowledge of Spark and Delta Lake for data processing and performance tuning
- Familiarity with dimensional modelling and tools like Power BI would be a bonus
- A curious mindset, a willingness to challenge thinking, and confidence in communicating with clients about data will stand out here.
