What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for an Assistant Bid Manager to join our growing Business Development team. You’ll support the Bid Manager and Bid Lead with sourcing and responding to tenders, producing high-quality proposals, and managing small to medium-sized bids end-to-end. It’s a role where you’ll learn quickly, develop your bid management skills, and play a key part in helping us win new business.
Your Day-to-Day
- Monitor and manage incoming bid opportunities, profiling them for timely review
- Support the production of bids and proposals, creating or sourcing content from across the business
- Manage bid submissions for small to medium-sized opportunities through the full sales lifecycle
- Coordinate stakeholders across Business Development, technical, delivery, and commercial teams
- Keep our bid library and tools up to date, and contribute to continuous improvement
What we're looking for

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- A genuine interest in bids, proposals, and the commercial world
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Team-player mindset with great relationship-building skills
- Good IT skills across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- A degree in IT, business, or another relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with procurement portals, PQQs, or Selection Questionnaires
- Familiarity with public sector or commercial routes to market
