What You’ll Be Doing
As a Service Lead, you’ll be focusing on the team that delivers our SOC and Engineering services. You’ll be responsible for ensuring service excellence, developing your people, and driving continuous improvement across SLAs and KPIs. You’ll also champion a client-centric approach, making sure our service always delivers value and impact.
Your Day-to-Day
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the team to support their professional growth and development.
- Driving the delivery of excellent client-intimate service, aligned with wider business strategy.
- Promoting collaboration across teams, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Handling challenging conversations constructively and with transparency.
- Working closely with the Head of Security Operations to deliver strategic goals and advance service maturity.
- Maintaining oversight of service health, monitoring performance, and driving improvements.
- Managing onboarding processes to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Exploring emerging technologies and maximising the use of existing platforms to improve efficiency and outcomes.

- A proven leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Someone who embodies the Waterstons values, inspiring and motivating others by example.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to client conversations.
- Strategic thinking with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in service leadership roles, ideally in SOC or engineering contexts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration and handle tough conversations constructively.
